Even though I have taught Preschool to year 7 my preference is to teach year 6 and 7. The Middle Phase Initiative that I am part of allows me to use my experiences and gives me the ability to teach my two favourite KLA's, Maths and Science.
Over the years I have conducted in-service to teachers on various computer programs that the school has purchased and I co-facilitated the Intel Teach To The Future Course with the staff at Karalee State School. Apart from my other responsibilities I am re-designing and managing our school’s Joomla Website and SharePoint.
But my proudest achievement to date is being a mother to my wonderful boys Carson (15) and Mackenzie (10). It is Carson and Mac who have the unique ability to always put life's problems into perspective for me.
My Current Spotlight Project is:
Digital Pedagogy Coach Project
In Moreton we are currently working with a group of dedicated teachers who will be working in their schools as Digital Pedagogy Coaches. The coaches will run a series of "Smart Cafes" to upskill their colleagues in how to use digital tools in the classrooms
