Welcome to the Game Maker Tutorial Collection

Game Maker is an application that is used widely in Queensland Schools for game making.    It comes in two versions, a free Lite Edition and a Pro Edition.   The following tutorials and resources have been developed to support teachers and students who are learning Game Maker.    You are welcome to download and copy the files for use in your classroom or for professional development.

Getting Started with Game Maker Handout

This tutorial is designed to provide you with all you need to know to get started with Game Maker.   It includes information about the program, details of where you can download the software and a list of links that contain tutorials, resources and models of games created using the software

 

 

 

 

Make your first A-Maze-ing Game in Game Maker 7

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create your first game in Game Maker.   The game you will create will be a simple maze game.   The object of the game will be for the player to move through the maze to reach the end point.
