The Owner teacher can manage emails sent to partner teachers using the email tool. This is very useful as you can pre-set standard emails and send them to participants at set times.
VFT Gallery
The VFT gallery also adds a visual and audio richness and presence to your VFT. Students need to see and hear a place to really enjoy a Virtual Field Trip. So ensure you gather a range of digital media to assist their learning.
Tips
Only use .jpg images and make sure you optimize your images for web.
Wide images will automatically be created into panoramic images by the VFT gallery tool.
Try to keep video and audio to under 1 Mg. Participants may have trouble downloading large files if their bandwidth is limited.
Contact people who live in the place of your Virtual Field Trip and ask them to share their experiences and resources (check copyright).
