Step 4: Manage partners and logins

This section is where you manage your partners details and logins. When a Partner teacher registers for your project, you will receive an automatic email.

1. Login to your VFT Management area.
2. Select Manage partners and logins from the left menu.
3. Your partners will be listed under one of two headings:
   Partners registered with LPAS (they have Learning Place usernames already)
   Partners not registered with LPAS (they may be non EQ members)
4. Select the school title with (unapproved)
5. Check their Partner details and if acceptable, approve their application.
6. Check their Partner logins and if NOT an LPAS member you can change their username and password and email it to them.

Tips

• If they are an EQ staff member (check their email address) then perhaps email them to ask if they would like to join the Learning Place. If they use their LPAS username it is much easier for you to manage their access into the communication room.
• Keep a spreadsheet of your partners. This can be handy if you want to email individual partners to give reminders and further information.

Managing Co-owners

Co-owners have the same power as you in the VFT project. They can edit any content, approve partners and update VFT details. The only action they can't do is create other co-owners.

Add or remove Co-owners in the left menu. Co-owners must by EQ employees and have a Learning Place username and password (LPAS).
