Strategic Plan

PURPOSE OF THIS PLAN

The purpose of the Gladstone District Youth Achievement Plan is to formalise arrangements between state schools, non state schools, TAFE institutes, community organisations and businesses supporting the implementation of the Queensland Government’s Education and Training Reforms for the Future in the Gladstone Education District.

The specific purpose of the Gladstone District Youth Achievement Plan (DYAP) is to:

·         Establish and strengthen partnerships to improve the life chances for young people

·         Confirm the objectives of the DYAP

·         Establish comprehensive communications strategies to involve DYAP members in achieving goals and outcomes

·         Commit to agreed management structures

·         Commit to collectively using best endeavours to undertake the proposed work identified in the key elements of the plan

·         Commit to identifying organisational accountability within the DYAP local management committee for achievement of DYAP goals.
