Joining an author database

One of the most time consuming parts of building the Online Literature Festival has been locating authors and illustrators who are willing to work with schools in this way. Locating your contact details was often very onerous.

In order to increase the accessibility of schools with authors and illustrators there has been a database for Authors and Illustrators developed (developed by Jenny Stubbs).

Schools are being directed, by the Learning Place, to use this database as a main port of call for accessing your skills. By adding your contact information (this does not need to be your personal details, it can be your publicist or publishers contacts) you will be making yourself far more easily accessible by schools.

You are able to define what student Year levels you are interested in working with, whether you are available to visit schools etc. This is not mandatory in any way, merely a suggestion as a possible way of promoting yourself to schools and giving you an extra avenue for you to get contact with schools.

Type the following address into your web browser

All the information for successfully registering in the database can be found on this site.
