A successful project results from good preparation, effective pedagogy and committed participation. The Owner Teacher's role is critical to the success of the project.
When your Project is over, it is important that you and your students:
- Contact all the Partners and thank them for their participation.
- Have a party to celebrate. You might even consider having online party chats with your participating students, teachers and special guests.
- Contact your Project Group Manager and let them know the outcome and that your project is completed.
- Make sure you let your Principal and your professional networks know of the outcome too. Sharing best practice will help other teachers to move online and create wonderful learning experienices for their students.
- Archive your project. Archiving prevents participants from adding more content however it can still be viewed by all.
- If you are going to leave the project active for a while, delete logins so the content won't change (one option).
- Evaluate your project and work on ways to improve next time. Your Project Group Manager can assist you here.
- Plan your next Collaborative Online Project!
Tip: Pat yourself on the back for a great job - these projects are hard work because they have such a tremendous outcome for students.
