Your class can either participate in an existing VFT or coordinate your own Virtual Field Trip if you would like a further challenge.
At the moment, only Education Queensland staff who are Learning Place members are able to coordinate a project. However any teacher or educator can register to participate in a project that is already established.
Steps
1. Explore the different Virtual Field Trips via the Current VFTs section and select a VFT that best suits your students' learning needs. Consider:
- Learning outcomes and curriculum links
- Student needs, skills and interests
- Technology requirements
- Uniqueness, challenge and sense of fun
2. Go to the VFT Partner Request Form and click on your preferred VFT and complete the form. The Owner Teacher will contact you to let you know if you have been successful.
3. If selected to participate, you will be emailed a project login for your students. Please ensure your students keep this login private.
4. Make sure you and your students understand the VFT inquiry or investigation, the project timelines and your responsibilities.
5. Use the Teacher Notes in your VFT area to plan your curriculum and student learning activities.
