A Virtual Field Trip allows students to explore and investigate a place without leaving their home or school.
The students are required to collect data and report their findings in their VFT COP. Virtual Field Trips have two components both based on an inquiry or investigations of an area.
- Students construct a field trip of an area using their data, media and reports.
- Students take a virtual tour through an area that has been set up by the Owner Teacher. These tours usually contain information, statistics, images, sounds and video.
