Page Forms

A form on a web page can be used to:

  • gather feedback from community members
  • show interest or understanding around a topic

You can add a form to any page. The response are collated and archived for users to view.

To create a form for a web page...

  1. Open Site Control - Secure area
  2. Select Manage web pages
  3. Select the appropriate site section name and open the page that will display the form.
  4. Select Page Forms located in the right panel: Other web page elements 
  5. Read the instructions carefully and use FormMaker to make the new form
  6. Select Add new form to add the created form to the page
  7. Make sure that you click Set view ON so that your users can see the form on the page
  8. The form has now been added and is ready to use on your web page.

Tip

Put some thought into your form and its purpose. People who visit your site might be annoyed if you over use forms or use them for frivolous reasons.
