Information and Processing Technology (IPT) (Year 11 & 12) delivered from Stanthorpe SHS
Information Processing and Technology refers to the creation, manipulation, storage, retrieval and communication of information and to the range of technological devices and systems used to perform these functions.
The course should prove especially relevant to students by assisting them to cope with the rapid rate of change associated with computer technology and to appreciate its advantages and disadvantages.

Assessment
Senior subject assessment programs will vary in nature but the range and type of assessment items will meet all requirements of the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA). Teachers will develop a range of assessment items so that students can show the full range of their capabilities.
