The Library Network was formed on April 1st 2003. Nineteen Teacher Aides, both full time and part time Library Assistants in school libraries met at Silkstone S.S. Their agenda was to establish a communication network sharing email addressess, fax numbers and phone numbers in order to support each other professionally and socially. On May 2nd 2003 Education Queensland invited us to extend that support by setting up a Professional Community site within the Learning Place.
