Debate-develop-create

This project allowed for 1 representative from every Gold Coast Secondary School, in a leadership position (Principals, Deputies or HODs Senior Schooling) an opportunity for big picture planning and understanding of VET through attending the Skilling Australia Forum. They have all informed their school staffs of the key messages from the Forum. Papers and PowerPoint presentations available on the website have been utilised by staff. This was a unique learning, contributing and networking experience for the staff attending, and provided for them and their schools, a current understanding of VET (issues, strengths, developments, agendas) in the wider VET environment, and the pertinent developments and actions impacting on their schools.

The whole group ICTs in Science and Technology in the Middle School The projects that have been developed and implemented as a result of participation in this practicum program have been exciting to watch unfold. The participants in this project have come from a wide variety of geographical locations and teaching contexts – ranging from High School HODs, Teaching Principals and Primary Teachers coming from an area stretching as far North as Emerald, West to Dulacca and South to Brisbane.

Gold Coast Schools- An intensive program This project allowed for a range of participants from 48/50 Gold Coast Schools, to up-skill through their participation in a variety of workshop activities that were informative, challenging, based on current best-practice and relevant to individual and school needs, with a focus on student and classroom management.
