Australian Government Summer Schools Small Grants

During January 2008, 1,000 teachers participated in the Australian Government Summer Schools (AGSS).

Schools at which AGSS graduate are based were eligible to apply for funding for professional development activities to benefit their broader staff and school community. The Australian Government has providing funding through State and Territory government and non-government education authorities to manage Summer School Small Grants for school-based professional development activities through the Australian Government Quality Teacher Programme (AGQTP) in 2008.
