Thinking On Your Feet - A conference for supply, contract & pre-service teachers

The conference program aims to support Pre-service, Beginning, Supply and Contract teachers. Workshops are presented by experienced teachers offering practical strategies to be incorporated during practicum/internships and when on supply/contracts days.

The Flying Start induction toolkit for beginning teachers is a valuable resource for beginning teachers in their first critical months of teaching. It provides beginning teachers with all the 'need-to-know' information about Education Queensland, as well as practical tips, hints and classroom activity ideas.

To support the personal and professional growth of all its employees, the department promotes a wide range of development opportunities through the:
