About us

Queensland School Sport provides, fosters and develops sporting programs within state schools and colleges, and the non-state schools affiliated with Queensland School Sport. This is achieved through the coordination of regional programs across our 12 school sport regions which provides the necessary network to cover the state of Queensland. Each school sport region is managed by a fulltime Regional School Sport Officer.

Parent Consent required for participation in the QSS program.    

Specific parent consent is required for participation in the QSS program which consists of teams attending District, Region, State, Interstate National and International events. Parents are required to complete the QSS Project Consent form when the student first competes at District level. The form, once signed by parents, is to be stored at the school the student is enrolled. This consent will remain current for any further QSS competitions.
