Gateway Learning Community
GLC enters its ninth year

Welcome to the GLC website for 2010

It was in 2002 that seven local state schools met together and saw great opportunities to be had by working collaboratively. With the iconic mascot of the then recently built Gateway Arterial Bridge, the ‘Gateway Learning Community’ (GLC) was born.

In the subsequent seven years many, many projects and events have been undertaken under the GLC banner, supporting the fabulous work being done in these school communities, by providing additional resources and infrastructure to enhance learning opportunities.

All of us in the GLC hope that you enjoy browsing through this website, reading about the ways in which the seven GLC schools are 'building bridges of opportunity for learners'.

So, please bookmark this site and visit it often to be kept up to date with all that is happening and opportunities of which members might like to avail themselves.

If you would like to submit calendar or news items, or have any queries whatsoever, please email or phone the GLC office on 3399 6821 or glc@balmoralshs.eq.edu.au
