Presented in partnership between Education Queensland and the State Library of Queensland, supported by the Brisbane Writers' Festival the Online Literature Festival offers the opportunity for teachers and students to meet and work with their favourite authors and illustrators. Students from Prep to Year 12 have the opportunity to interact with special online guests through a variety of web tools.
First round of author names released include John Marsden, Andy Griffiths, Jackie French, Libby Gleeson, Stephen Herrick, Tristan Bancks, Clinton J. Isle, Boori Monty Prior, Pamela Rushby and Anita Heiss.
Whether you're studying a specific book in class or your're keen to learn more about writing, drawing, filmaking, and digital storytelling, OLF offers something for every student in Queensland.
There are also teacher professional development sessions with authors after school.
