Podcasting is a powerful publishing platform that addresses different learning styles, is highly mobile, and can deliver content "just in time". This series of workshops helps you to create movie and sound files using software installed on standard MOE machines and learn how to publish these through the Learning Place. Learning contexts and curriculum links for podcasting will be discussed during each session.
Session 1
An introduction to literacy learning through podcasting. The first session includes a brief introduction to podcasts, practical demonstration of creating and editing sound files with Audacity as well as discussion about classroom learning contexts for creating audio content.
